Representing clients throughout Ontario.
We advise and defend regulated professionals involved in civil and regulatory proceedings. We are trusted by regulated professionals to provide guidance and representation on civil claims both through their professional liability insurance, and in uncovered claims. Jordan acts as defence counsel for the Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company, and both of our partners have extensive experience defending physicians and other healthcare providers governed by the Regulated Health Professionals Act, accountants, and other professionals.
We also prosecute actions on behalf of members of the public against professionals who have caused losses due to negligence, misrepresentation or breaches of fiduciary duty. Vladi assists clients with advancing claims of negligence against lawyers and handles disputes over lawyers’ compensation. We also advise and represent clients regarding claims against accountants and real estate agents or brokers.
We have experience representing both professional regulatory colleges and their members in disciplinary proceedings and advising members of the public on pursuing regulatory complaints. We have successfully pursued judicial reviews and appeals of regulatory college decisions.
